In Chinese culture, winter, or Han, represents rest, reflection, and the quiet preparation for renewal. It is a time when nature retreats, storing its energy for the burst of life to come. Inspired by this season, the Han collection embodies winter’s stillness and strength.

The deep blue glaze, speckled with soft whites, reflects a winter night sky, reminiscent of the quiet beauty found in frosted landscapes. This collection was one of my earliest experiments with glazes, capturing the interplay of light and shadow that feels as fleeting and delicate as snowflakes.
